Our approach
Hitoiki Pilates ("the App") can be used without creating an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or home address.
Data kept only on your device
Your onboarding answers (the safety check, areas to protect, goals, experience and place). These never leave your device.
iCloud sync
Your workout history (date, session, time and how it felt) and your schedule are synced between devices on the same Apple Account using your own iCloud. We can’t see this data. You can turn this off with “Sync history with iCloud” in Settings.
Apple Health
Only if you turn on “Save to Apple Health” in Settings, each finished session is saved to Health as a Pilates workout. The app never reads your Health data.
Usage measurement
To improve the app, we use PostHog (PostHog, Inc.) to send usage data (sessions started and finished, paywall views and purchase results, and crash reports) together with an ID used only for measurement that doesn’t identify you. App Store notifications about renewals, cancellations and refunds are linked to the same ID. Your device model, OS and app version, and language setting are sent along with it. Your answers, the contents of your history and advertising identifiers are never sent. Your IP address is not stored, and it is not used to estimate your location. You can turn this off anytime with “Share usage data” in Settings.
Purchase information
Purchases are handled by Apple. The App never receives your payment information.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, they are scheduled and shown on your device at the times you set. Notification content is never sent outside your device.
Sharing with third parties
We do not share your information with third parties, except as required by law.
